Open Call Handout

Practical information & playbook

Thank you for your application or interest in our open call! This handout contains all the details about participating in the exhibition during the IDFA Meets Art Collective For Peace event on Sunday, September 14, 2025. The theme of the event is protest.

Work & Content Guidelines

Your work may be a free interpretation of the theme of protest/resistance – we encourage personal, unexpected, or poetic perspectives. However, we ask you to take the following conditions into account:

Respectful expression: Art Collective For Peace stands for activism that invites connection. Please avoid explicitly violent, offensive, or polarizing imagery.

Check in if unsure: Not sure whether your work fits the event? No problem, feel free to contact us so we can discuss it together.

Physical requirements: Ideally, the work should be suitable for hanging on a movable exhibition panel (max. 100 x 150 cm). Make sure it has a hanging system on the back (e.g. hooks or wire).

Giclée prints (on Hahnemühle paper up to A2 size) can be produced at low production cost via Art Collective For Peace.

Logistics: You are responsible for delivering and picking up your work before and after Sunday, September 14.

Pickup (if unsold): You can collect your work starting Sunday, September 14, after the event ends (expected around 22:00). All works must be picked up by September 25 at the latest.

Pricing, proceeds, and charity

You set the selling price of your work yourself. You can make the work available for sale through our webshop for a fixed or indefinite period, with 100% of the proceeds going to our registered charities.

If your work is sold during the IDFA Meets ACFP event, 50% of the proceeds will go to you, and 50% to one of our carefully selected charities of your choice. You also have the option to donate a larger share to the charity if you wish.

VAT (BTW): As our foundation is structured to support positive social impact, sales benefiting charities are exempt from VAT. You can find more information about this on belastingdienst.nl.

Invoicing & payment: If your work is sold during the event, we will contact you afterward to arrange payment and collect your payment details.

Informatie placards

ACFP will provide information cards and social media posts for each artwork. To do so, we kindly ask you to send us the following details by August 22 at the latest:

Promotion & Visibility

Your work and artist profile will be shared through our social media channels and may also be featured in our webshop on artcollectiveforpeace.org after the event. If you choose to make your work available on the website, you will receive more information about this at a later stage.

Do you have any questions or is something not completely clear?

Feel free to send an email to artists.artcollectiveforpeace@gmail.com.

We are very much looking forward to your contribution and are excited to collaborate on this special afternoon!

With warm regards,
